  Raffinto (Super Tuscan Blend)
The 2003 Raffinto, which means "Refined" in Italian. This Super Tuscan Blend of 60% Sangiovese and 40% Caberinet, Caberinet Franc and Syrah was fermented in French and American oak for a period of 20 months.
  Regale Cabernet Blend
In the Fall of 2004 we released our first Cabernet blend. We call it, "Regale" which in Italian means Regal. The "Regale", is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Frac, and Syrah grown on the Pigoni Ranch and Merlot grown on the Ramazzotti ranch both are located in the Alexander Valley growing region. This wine was originated in an antique Toulousse & Delorieux wooden wine press. We belive handcrafted wines bring out a unique quality and can be enjoyed for years to come. This wine is big, beautiful and fruity, with hints of chocolate and violets. We have a limited offering of this majestic beauty as we made only 100 cases.
  Ricordo Zinfandel Blend
In the fall, we released our " Ricordo" wine. Ricordo in Italian means, "rememberance". Our Ricordo is a blend of varieties of grapes the Italians used in their favorite "Dago Red" made back in the 1930s through the 1960s in the Dry Creek area of Sonoma county. The grapes used to make this wine were crushed in an antique Toulousse & Delorieux wooden wine press. The blend for the Ricordo is 75% Zinfandel, 10% Petite Sirah, 5% Alicante, 5% Carignane and aprx. 2% Golden Chasselas. These grapes come from our own vineyard, our neighbors' vineyard, Randy and Chalotte Paulling and from Carreras Vineyards. All of the vineyards are in Dry Creek appellation and are farmed by Joe.
  Syrah
This 100% Syrah grape, grown in the Alexander Valley near Geyserville, is the Estrella River Clone on 101-14 rootstock. I have found this particular grape to be one of the most beautiful to grow. I use this wonderful wine in all of my blends because it is so versatile. It has a smoky aroma and flavor, with a hint of dark chocolate and berries that linger on the palette forever.
  Wente Clone Chardonnay
Our 2003 Went Clone Chardonnay is exclusively from 25 year old Wente Clone vines grown on the Smith Ranch in Dry Creek Valley. The crush was barrel-fermented, unfined and unfiltered. You can really taste the fruit in this Chardonnay. It has a fresh, pure quality that comes from not being over-handled.
  Zin Giovese Rose
This wonderful Rose won the GOLD MEDAL, BEST OF CLASS award at the 2005 Sonoma County Harvest Fair. It is made from a blend of 59% Sangiovese and 41% Zinfandel, fermented on the skins for two days in order to retain it spectacular color and full bodied taste. After the short fermentation we put 10% in used oak for one month and then finally blended together in stainless steel until bottled. The Sangiovese grapes produce a wild Strawberry flavor, while the Zinfandel grapes give it a beauftiful middle body fruit. Our Zin Giovese has not gone through maloactic fermintation.
  Zinfandel Rose`
We released our Zinfandel Rose` in June 2004 just in time for summer. From our vineyard in the Dry Creek Valley of Sonoma County. This Rose` is the perfect summer refreshment. Its' bright finish with a burst of flavor for your palette lends to its ability to go with just about anything.
