Laguna Canyon Winery
|
|
Welcome to Laguna Canyon Winery. Our journey begins in Vancouver, British Columbia where my brother Darren and I bought our first urban winery in 1994. We began producing Cabernet, Merlot, Shiraz, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. Three years later we built another urban winery in the Vancouver area to expand operations. Since then we have been importing grapes from California, Washington, Oregon and the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia to ship them temperature controlled to the Vancouver wineries. A decade later as operations still continue in Canada, we decided to move to California and start a 3rd winery; the very place where we import most of our grapes into Canada. We thought it would be very interesting to build a winery in the largest grape growing region in North America, and continue to expand our market into the United States. Over the years we've developed a fruit forward winemaking style that is sure to please the palette. In addition, we recently hired our Italian Winemaster, 'Gianni Seminari' of Italy to do all our our wine blending. We will continue to focus on quality and not quantity. Our goal is to source out the very best grapes and continue to produce the highest quality wine just as our customers in Canada have come to expect.
