Maiolatesi Wine Cellars Our goal at Maiolatesi Wine Cellars is to produce the best possible wine from Grapes grown throughout Pennsylvania. We can provide custom labels for any occasions (weddings our specialty). We also carry a unique supply of beautifully wrapped Totes, Crates and Baskets always on hand. We are a Northeastern Pa Winery established in 1999 by Salvatore P. Maiolatesi.

Directions
From the south Via I –81 Follow I – 81 North to exit 187 towards US – 6 Carbondale (keep left). Follow 6 east 10.82 miles to exit # 6 Meredith St. At the end of exit ramp turn left, follow until first traffic light, turn right onto business route 6. Follow .45 miles, turn right into Mermelsteins Market Place, Our tasting room is located next to LaFiore Gift Shop. From the North Via I – 81 Follow I – 81 South to exit 211 towards Lenox. Turn right onto pa-92 (.19 miles) Turn left onto pa – 106 (approx. 15 miles) Turn right onto US – 6 (1.4 miles) Turn left into Mermelsteins Market Place Our tasting room is located next to LaFiore Gift Shop.

  Cabernet Franc
Our 2001 Cabernet Franc is a medium bodied dry red wine. Firm tannins, aromas of violets and flavors of ripe berries come together in a wine aged for fourteen months in Hungarian oak Serve at cool room temperatures.
  Cabernet Sauvignon
Our 2000 Cabernet Sauvignon is a medium bodied dry red wine, with soft flavors of berry and oak. This wine was aged for 14 months in French oak barrels then blended with Merlot and Petit Verdot. It 's best served at cool room temperatures. Enjoy this style wine with Beef, spicy Pork or Chicken and pasta dishes with red sauce.
  Cayuga White
Light and crisp best describe this white wine finished at 6% residual sugar. Fermented very cool for 9 weeks than aged in stainless steel.
  Chardonnay
Our 2002 vintage Chardonnay is a medium bodied white wine with citrus and light oak flavors. This wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks then aged for six months in new French oak barrels. Optimum serving temperature: 45° - 50° Enjoy this style wine with lighter dishes of Pork, Chicken and Veal or pasta with a light cream sauce.
  Coal Miners Red
Our Coal Miners Red is a semi-sweet homemade style red wine produced using Chancellor and De Chaunac grapes. This wine was finished at 2.5% residual sugar and can be served with a meal or as a casual drink.
  Dolcetto
Our Dolcetto is an Italian varietal grown in the southeastern part of Pennsylvania. It is a light bodied red wine with a touch of sweetness. This wine is blended with small amounts of Merlot and Chancellor to enhance its body and character.
  Giulia's Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon
Our 2001 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon was chosen from our lot of Cabernet and aged for 23 months in French oak. This wine was blended with 5% of our Reserve Merlot.
  Giulia's Reserve Chardonnay
Our 2002 Giulia's Reserve Chardonnay was fermented for 7 weeks at cool temperatures than aged sur-lie for 9 months in new French oak, than an additional 3 months in one year seasoned French oak
  Giulia's Reserve Merlot
Our 2001 Reserve Merlot was fermented than left on the skins for 2 weeks creating soft yet complex tannins it was aged for 23 months in French and American oak.
  Meritage
Our 2001 Meritage is a blend using 3 of the “noble” Bordeaux varieties, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon aged 14 months is a new traditional French oak barrel.
  Merlot
Our 2001 Merlot is a full-bodied dry red wine, with firm tannins and flavors of berries and oak. This wine was aged for fourteen months in French and American oak barrels then blended with small amounts of Petit Verdot. It is best served at cool room temperatures. Enjoy this style wine with Beef, spicy Pork or Chicken and pasta dishes with red sauce.
  Mia Bianco
Our Mia Bianco is a sweet white wine produced using Seyval and Cayuga grapes grown on the coast of Lake Erie. A cool, extended fermentation and storage in stainless steel has given us a casual wine, which is crisp and fruity.
  Mia Labruscana
Our Mia Labruscana is a sweet homemade style red wine produced with Native American and French American grapes. This wine is a composition of Old World tradition and New World technique, which resulted in a wine that can be served on ice, at room temperature or warmed with sliced apples and cinnamon.
  Mia Rosé
Our Mia Rosé is a sweet pink wine produced using Concord, Niagara and Aurore grapes grown on the coast of Lake Erie. The strong bouquet present in this wine is complements of the Niagara grape.
  Petit Verdot
Our 2001 Petit Verdot is a medium-bodied dry red wine, with firm tannins and flavors of berries spice and oak. This wine was aged in French oak and stainless steel then blended with small amounts of Merlot. It is best served at cool room temperatures. Enjoy this style wine with Beef, spicy Pork or Chicken and pasta dishes with red sauce.
  Pinot Grigio
Our Pinot Grigio is an Italian varietal grown in the southeastern part of Pennsylvania. This white wine was fermented at cool temperatures in Stainless steel tanks for six weeks to enhance its varietal character and aroma.
  White Merlot
Similar in style to White Zinfandel, this wine was finished at 4% residual sugar with a hint of Raspberries.
