  Cab/Syrah Estate El Dorado
Seriously dark garnet in color with opulent aromas ofdark cherries and a well integrated overlay of French oak. This is a 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Syrah blend from our estate grown fruit. Black cherry and ripe raspberry flavors explode into a deep, rich, concentrated, lingering finish. This wine was truly “handcrafted” by Frank: planted by hand, farmed by hand, harvested by hand, hand punchdowns 3 times daily during whole berry fermentation. Hands down, the best wine yet released from our Estate vines - 100% French oak, 20% new. Drink now to 2012.
  Cab/Syrah, El Dorado
Perfumed aromatics of perfectly ripe blackberries and sweet, smoky French oak. The palate bursts with flavors of chocolate covered cherries & spice, with a full, round, juicy mid-palate. Mellow, round tannins and bright acidity lift the flavors through to the lingering finish. Although we don’t like to use descriptors that are subjective – many who’ve tasted this wine call it “sexy”! Fabulous with grilled meats, bbq, lamb, and rich red sauces. A great wine drinking now or for your cellar. Aged 12 months in 100% French Oak. 40% Cab/60% Syrah)
  Cabernet Sauvignon, El Dorado
Deep garnet color with hints of toasty, french oak and memorable aromas of ripe, fresh, black cherries. The mid-palate evolves - beginning with rich but subtle spice, then onto full, round, ripe berry flavors and a burst of supple tannins and dark chocolate on the finish. Yum! Aged for 12 months in 100% French oak. A versatile Cabernet that is drinking great now but worthy of aging in your “cellar” until 2011.
  Chardonnay, El Dorado
Aromas of baked apples with upfront orchard flavors of pear and peach on the palate. The mid- palate delivers underlying notes of honey and toasted almonds. Enjoy the crisp, lingering, citrus finish. 100% whole berry pressed, barrel fermented, no ML, aged 100% on lees. 3 yr French Oak. Drinking great now – 2007.
  Chocolate Splash, El Dorado
This is Frank’s “special blend” of Port (made from five classic port varietals) infused with 60% dark, bittersweet chocolate and 40% milk chocolate natural essence – what a combination! Yum! Ooh la la!
  Petite Sirah Syrah, El Dorado
Deep, dark and purple with an intense blast of blueberries and violets. Integrated layers of American oak and vanilla precede the balanced finish of spicy pepper and soft round tannins that make you want to drink it now and lay some down – this wine will age beautifully! Made from 50% EstatePetite Sirah and 50% El Dorado Syrah. Aged 12 months in 50% American oak and 50% French oak. Drink now to 2012.
  Syrah, El Dorado
Fresh fruit aromas of blueberry and blackberry with subtle nuances of spice and smoke. The berry flavors explode well into the mid-palate with an elegant, elongated, cherry, vanilla finish. Small, open-top bin fermentation, hand punch-downs 3 times daily, finished fermentation in barrel and was aged 12 months in 100% French Oak – 375 cases produced. A Syrah for your cellar - it will evolve and become more complex over time. Drink now to 2010.
  Viognier Roussanne, El Dorado
These two varietals (80% Viognier & 20% Roussanne) are the future of our flagship white Rhone varietal wines. Intensely aromatic, orange blossom, plumeria and hazelnut. Aromas of tropical, mango flavors of Viognier infuse together with the flinty, stoney, mineral character of Roussanne. The finish is long, clean and fresh. 100% whole berry pressed, barrel fermented, no ML. Aged on lees in 100% French oak.
  Zinfandel, El Dorado
A vibrant expression of El Dorado Zinfandel. The spicy, ripe, blackberry bouquet precedes flavors of rich, intense raspberry and vanilla infused oak on the palate. The forward fruit, elongated mid-palate and lively acidity make this wine age-worthy. Drink now or gracefully age in your cellar until 2009. Small, open-top bin fermentation, hand punch-downs 3 times daily. This wine finished fermentation in barrel and was aged 12 months in 100% American Oak – 275 cases produced.
