Rated Outstanding by Stephen Tanzer. Good full red-ruby. Complex, gamey aromas of cherry, smoke, licorice and leather. Supple and spicy, with nicely restrained sweetness and suggestions of licorice, tobacco and fresh herbs. Juicy and aromatic on the back end. A spicy, dense, expressive wine with very good length.
