Description: A dry, smooth, round, light wine with a lovely garnet color. Rich in cherry and black raspberry flavors, it is a nice compliment to almost all meats. Leon Millot is a French-American hybrid between Goldriesling and an American vine called vitis riparia. Leon Millot produces wines that are fuller-bodied with a nuance of chocolate.Léon Millot (Kuhlmann 194-2) is an early-ripening black grape produced from the same cross as Maréchal Foch. The wines are similar, with distinct berry aromas. Vine characteristics tend to be similar as well, although Léon Millot is usually more vigorous and productive.
