Quivira’s Standley Ranch Zinfandel is made from vines so old that no one living knows how old they are. The 2000 vintage was the first time that all the variables came together to allow us to bottle this exceptional wine as a vineyard designate. There were only four barrels, so there’s not much to go around. The wine is packed with flavor, like homemade boysenberry jam, minus the sugar, with a hint of mulling spices in the background. Great depth and structure, will age well.
