A barrel selection was made blind tasting all of the 1999 vintage and the best three barrels were selected based on flavor profile. New barrel aged for a total of 18 months. No fining or filtering. The wine exhibits the same fruit flavors of cherries, red currants, raspberries and some faint wild strawberry. Nice levels of toast and some hints of chocolate are there as well. A warm spicy bouquet. 75 cases Bottle age 3-7 years. Suggested Retail: SOLD OUT
