Description:
117 cases produced. Nysa Vineyard is a densely planted vineyard in the Dundee Hills, named after the home of the god Dionysus (Dio from Nysus). The fruit came from two Pinot noir clones, 75% Wädenswil and 25% Pommard. It was destemmed and fermented in small 1.5 ton fermenters. After primary fermentation , the new wine was pressed gently and barreled in 40% new barrels, part French oak and part Oregon white oak. This is a dark, concentrated wine with notes of currant and plum.
