Description:
Johnson Estate Liebestropfchen ("Little Love Drops") is a rich, fruity, semi-sweet wine similar in flavor and character to a fine French Sauternes. This luscious, pale golden 100 percent Delaware wine uniquely captures the fully-ripened character of the Delaware grape.

Varietal Definition
Delaware:
A native American hybrid grape variety used to make dry, sweet and sparkling white wines of good quality and mild "foxy" character. Commonly grown in the Eastern U.S. where it has considerable popularity when made into "ice-wine".

Sauterne:
Sauterne is an intentional misspelling of the name of the famed wine region Sauternes. The term is typically used on low-quality wines produced in the U.S. from native grapes. Completely unlike Sauternes, it can be either white or pink, and ranges from nearly dry to sweet.
