Description: The 2003 Vintner's Reserve Riesling is a blend produced from the finest fruit that our estate vineyards had to offer. We believe it to be the truest example of the 2003 season. A modest amount of residual sugar was retained to balance the crisp acid structure and enhance the palette. This wine is full of pleasing mineral, peach, and pear notes that follow through into the lush mouthfeel, and persist for the duration of the lingering finish.

Varietal Definition
On the sweeter end of the spectrum, some of the best dessert wines should give thanks to the Riesling varietal. Riesling is known for its complementary nature of combining balanced acidity with sugar. Rieslings are made dry to sweet, but it is the sweet style Riesling that brought about its popularity in the United States.
