GHV Frontenac Rosé

GHV Frontenac Rosé Wine Details
Price:

Description: GHV Frontenac Rosé is made from the Frontenac grape released by the University of Minnesota in 1996. The grapes were pressed before the skins could color the wine leaving a light pink color but retaining Frontenac’s distinctive cherry aroma. We are temporary sold out of this favorite. Enjoy this slightly sweet wine chilled with casual foods such as hamburgers, pizza, or cheeses.

Varietal Definition
Frontenac:
Frontenac’s overall viticultural performance and excellent wine quality are directly responsible for its success in Minnesota, where more of its vines are growing than any other variety. This recently released red wine grape from the University of Minnesota is a cross of Landot 4511 and Vitis Riparia. The vine’s chief advantage is its extremely vigorous and productive nature.
