Solitary Oak

Solitary Oak Wine Details
Price: $12.75 per bottle

Description: Crisp and delicate, this wine pays tribute to elegant French whites. Subtle and refined, we blend this wine carefully to accentuate the varietal character of each of the three grapes without any one dominating. We then age this blend in oak barrels for eight months, adding complexity, but still letting the fruit be the focus of the wine. Look for hints of citrus, pineapple, and subtle vanilla. Great with seafood! (40% Seyval, 50% Vidal, 10% Vignoles)

Varietal Definition
Vignole:
Commonly grown in the cooler regions of North America, this french-american hybrid used for making white dry, late-harvest and ice-wines has its origins in the Chardonnay grape. Currently very popular as a dessert wine because of its restrained fruitiness and good balance. Same as Ravat.
