On top of a hilly vineyard in Lake County, our Cabernet Franc vines grow deep into rocky soil. In the bright afternoon sun these pieces of rock sparkle like diamonds and trap the heat into the soil for the long, cool nights. The result is a smooth, full-bodied elegant wine. Flavors of red cherry and vanilla are framed by a hint of cocoa and wood. The lengthy finish is well balanced with velvety tannins. Enjoy with grilled pork tenderloin or stuffed veal cutlets.
