Papo

Papo Wine Details
Price: $24.95 per bottle

Description: Papo is a Hungarian word meaning grandpa. We reserved our best wine for this intentionally. This is a Minnesotan Port wine made out of Marquette, the latest grape to be released by the University of Minnesota. We believe this is just one more example of how Minnesotans wine can compete on the world stage. Kept moderately sweet, pairs well with chocolate desserts. It is a spicy wine with Cherry very present.

Varietal Definition
Marquette:
Marquette, formerly MN1211, is a high sugar and moderate acidity red wine grape. It has an open orderly growth habit. University of Minnesota indicates that its resistance to downy mildew, powdery mildew, and black rot has been very good.
