Storyteller

Storyteller Wine Details
Price: $14.00 per bottle

Description: Exotic fruits, quince and mineral aromas invite summer patio sipping. In the mouth, fruit and floral flavors meld with lush sweetness that is balanced by crisp acidity lingering on the finish. Storyteller is a blend of Vignole and Chardonel and is perfect for after dinner or a pleasing aperitif.

Varietal Definition
Vignole:
Commonly grown in the cooler regions of North America, this french-american hybrid used for making white dry, late-harvest and ice-wines has its origins in the Chardonnay grape. Currently very popular as a dessert wine because of its restrained fruitiness and good balance. Same as Ravat.
Chardonel:
Chardonel was developed in New York State, to be a late-ripening, highly-productive, cold-climate varietal. A cross of Chardonnay and Seyval Blanc, Chardonel is proving its value in the Mid-Atlantic and Midwest states. Given much of the same treatment as Chardonnay, it adapts well to barrel fermention, and controlled lees contact. The result is often a full-bodied dry wine, high in alcohol and acidity, with a similar, if less pronounced character than Chardonnay.
