Pinot Gris ‘Casa Blanca’

Pinot Gris ‘Casa Blanca’ Wine Details
Price: $20.00 per bottle

Description: We call this ‘Casa Blanca’ because the Pinot Gris made from these high altitude Arizona vines have twice been served at White House State Dinners. It has a nose of freshly chopped apple, followed by ripe peaches and apricots on the palate. We wanted a fresh clean food wine with good mouthfeel that would work as a sipper, and pair well with salads, seafood or lighter chicken dishes.

Varietal Definition
Pinot Grigio/Gris:
Pinkish-white variety producing a very crisp white wine. Grown in Oregon, the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, and more and more in California, it shows promise for other cool climates. Also known as Tokay d'Alsace in France, Rulander in Germany, and Pinot Grigio in Italy.
