Pinot Gris

Pinot Gris Wine Details
Price: $13.00 per bottle

Description: The 2008 Pinot Gris offers breathtaking precision and purity for its modest tariff. Light lemon- gold in the glass with glints of green, the Illahe Pinot Gris opens with soil-driven aromas of lemon, minerals and honeydew. Riveting acidity greets the palate, then quickly segues to suggestions of lime zest, salty minerals and crisp green apples. The wine’s brisk acidity and mineral spine leads to a long, refreshing finish.”

Varietal Definition
Pinot Grigio/Gris:
Pinkish-white variety producing a very crisp white wine. Grown in Oregon, the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, and more and more in California, it shows promise for other cool climates. Also known as Tokay d'Alsace in France, Rulander in Germany, and Pinot Grigio in Italy.
