Description:
The Russian River Valley produces wines that are have brighter acidity for the white varietals that are grown there. The fog gives you a chance to let your grapes hang longer on the vine to gain more complexity in the flavors. In the Russian River Valley AVA, our Très Frais Chardonnay is picked from three different clones: Whitney, Spring Mountain & Clone 76. Très Frais translates from French as very fresh, so we like to keep this Chardonnay very crisp & clean. Malo-lactic fermentation is what makes a wine creamy in texture. We let this wine go through 60% Malo-lactic fermentation to give it both the bright start with a smoother finish. The aroma of this wine peaks your interest with pear, green apple & hints of butterscotch. As it hits your palate a blend of light vanilla, lychee & apple unite. These flavors transition into a finish of lemongrass, minerality & touches some oak notes.
