Shiraz

Shiraz Wine Details
Price: $25.00 per bottle

Description: The long awaited, unfiltered Shiraz was hand bottled on November 3, 2007. This wine, tasted by many from the barrel, is defined by Owner Gene Estes’ statement that differences in oak can determine the wine. Alternating between French and American Oak, we believe that we have achieved a balance that best complements this variety . Lone Oak Winery is pleased to release this first, very limited edition of our own carefully selected estate-grown Shiraz .

Varietal Definition
Shiraz:
Alternate name for the french Syrah clone grape grown in Australia and responsible for very big red wines that are not quite as intense in flavor as the french Rhone versions.
