Delicato Pinot Grigio

Delicato Pinot Grigio Wine Details
Price:

Description: Using a large percentage of grapes from Lodi, our 2005 Pinot Grigio benefits from an extended growing season that produced heavy crop loads with condensed flavors at lower sugar levels than normal. This wine has floral aromas blending into nuances of tropical fruit and citrus. On the palate, our Pinot Grigio has a rich texture and mouthfeel, exhibiting crisp flavors of lemon, light mineral, and ginger, flowing into a long finish. This wine pairs perfectly with appetizers or can be enjoyed by itself as an aperitif.

Varietal Definition
Pinot Grigio/Gris:
Pinkish-white variety producing a very crisp white wine. Grown in Oregon, the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, and more and more in California, it shows promise for other cool climates. Also known as Tokay d'Alsace in France, Rulander in Germany, and Pinot Grigio in Italy.
