Description: The 2004 vintage started out with warm weather in January and March, leading to early bud break. Spring and summer were relatively mild on the Central Coast, leading to even development. The harvest began in September, with very ripe grapes showing good flavors.

Varietal Definition
Shiraz:
Alternate name for the french Syrah clone grape grown in Australia and responsible for very big red wines that are not quite as intense in flavor as the french Rhone versions.
