Echelon Vineyards Pinot Grigio Esperanza Vineyard

Echelon Vineyards Pinot Grigio Esperanza Vineyard Wine Details
Price:

Description: The 2005 vintage saw optimal conditions with cool nights, warm days and no heat spikes. This kept vine stress to a minimum and allowed time for the large clusters to fully ripen. The Pinot Grigio and Viognier grapes have excellent color and flavors. This is one of the best vintages in the last 10 years.

Varietal Definition
Pinot Grigio/Gris:
Pinkish-white variety producing a very crisp white wine. Grown in Oregon, the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, and more and more in California, it shows promise for other cool climates. Also known as Tokay d'Alsace in France, Rulander in Germany, and Pinot Grigio in Italy.
