Petite Sirah Dry Creek Valley

Petite Sirah Dry Creek Valley Wine Details
Price: $21.00 per bottle

Description: Petite Sirah has become a seldom seen wine in recent years, but, at it's best, it demonstrates the intensity of character that has made California wines standouts in the world of wine. This 1998 Petite Sirah has deep purple color with a rich nose of stone fruit and cracked black pepper. The flavors mimic the nose with ripe fruit and pepper with blackberry and that wonderful hint of tar found in the wines of the Rhone. The grapes, grown in the Somers Vineyard, were shown by a DNA analysis to be a true clone of Duriff, the esoteric and mostly forgotten grape of the Southern Rhone Valley. Try this wine, it is not to be missed.
