Description: 100% Amador Pinotage. Medium-bodied, aromas of blackberries, mint, plum, cinnamon and fresh linen. Notes of cherries, leather and tobacco with lingering oak flavors. Pairs well with BBQ, venison, blue cheese and rich vegetarian meals. A cross between the delicate Pinot Noir and the more robust Cinsaut.

Pinotage:
Grape widely grown and successful in South Africa. Derived from the crossing of a Pinot Noir clone and Cinsaut. Used to make a popular, hearty red wine that ages well - (and often requires it). Also found widely grown in New Zealand and in smaller acreages in California.
