Jowler Creek Vignoles

Jowler Creek Vignoles Wine Details

Description: Vignoles (pronounced vee-knoll) is quickly becoming an endangered species…everyone wants to get their hands on a bottle! This wine is rather exotic and loaded with flavors of peach, strawberry, apricot, pineapple, and honey. Yet it’s light, crisp and refreshing. It’s the perfect mate to a light lunch out on the back deck, or a hot and spicy supper.

Varietal Definition
Commonly grown in the cooler regions of North America, this french-american hybrid used for making white dry, late-harvest and ice-wines has its origins in the Chardonnay grape. Currently very popular as a dessert wine because of its restrained fruitiness and good balance. Same as Ravat.
