Description: Our Tannat is an intriguing full-bodied rich wine with complex aromas full of vitality and remarkably smooth tannins. Tannat is a unique variety new to the Virginia region and thrives due to the enduring characteristics of this areas soil and climate.

Varietal Definition
Deeply colored and tannic minor grape grown in the Pyrenees region of France. One of four grapes whose wine is blended to make the full-bodied red wine known as "Madiran". The others are Bouchy, Courbu and Pinenc.
