Charbono

Charbono Wine Details
Price: $18.95 per bottle

Description: An extremely limited varietal, it's a Fortino Family favorite. Inky, deep purple in color. Full bodied, hints of mint, black cherry and smokey cedar. It can be enjoyed while young, but if you can cellar it for 10 to 20 years you will be rewarded with some elegant flavors.

Varietal Definition
Charbono:
Red-wine creating grape grown on small acreages in California. Some have argued that it is a clone of the now sparsely grown Douce Noir grape found in the Savoie region of France, better known as the Dolcetto grape widely grown in northern Italy
