Description:
A blend from four spectacular sites in the northern Willamette Valley, our Reserve is indeed world-class, cool-climate Chardonnay. Our style, which differs substantially from the typical "California Style", has elements that reflect the region: Bright fruit characters of pears, melons, and citrus with lean and entertaining acids. Our Chardonnays undergo minimal malolactic conversion by design, and this helps to create a round and rich mouth feel without sacrificing the lovely acidy and balance inherent in the wine. This wine was fermented in a combination of both stainless steel and 2-3 year old French oak barrels which gives it a rich palate presence that isn't cloying.
