Sweet Catherine Sauterne Style Wine

Sweet Catherine (Sauterne Style Wine) Wine Details
Price: $19.00 per bottle

Description: The Sweet Catherine is our first late harvest style wine, profiled after classic French Sauternes. The wine is named after my daughter Catherine and if there was ever a wine to describe her, it is definitely “Sweet Catherine”. This is a classic Sauterne wine with a backbone of acid, lush mouth of honey and apricot, and sweet on the finish. The viscosity of the wine is very reminiscent of a fine Sauterne wine, one of the profiles we were trying to attain in making this wine

Varietal Definition
Sauterne:
Sauterne is an intentional misspelling of the name of the famed wine region Sauternes. The term is typically used on low-quality wines produced in the U.S. from native grapes. Completely unlike Sauternes, it can be either white or pink, and ranges from nearly dry to sweet.
