Imagery Lagrein, Paso Robles

Imagery Lagrein, Paso Robles Wine Details
Price: $38.00 per bottle

Description: This bottling is full flavored (red currant, blueberry, plum), full bodied, and long and lightly oaky on the finish.

Varietal Definition
Lagrein:
A famous varietal in the Trentino/Alto Adige area of northern Italy. Usually overproduced into making light reds with little character, there are versions that are worthy of the proper care they were given. Sumptuous, rich reds and perfumed rosés from Lagrein can be very good and will also improve with cellaring, sometimes lasting up to ten years. Black plums, fresh red cherries and alpine grass can be found in the better versions. Also grown with limited success in Australia.
