Description:
Madroña Reserve Chardonnay is a full-bodied, creamy wine, with lots of toasty oak. Partial barrel fermentation in only the sweetest of French oak is neatly married with cool tank fermented Chardonnay, both of which are aged "sur lie" until close to bottling. A partial malolactic fermentation softens the palate adding a creaminess to the mouthfeel and making this a more age-worthy Chardonnay than its lighter style counterparts.
