It is the highest vineyard in the exclusive Rockpile appellation between Lake Sonoma and the Pacific Ocean. The shallow rocky soil, long sunny days and temperate nights are ideal for cultivating intense, dense, complex Bordeaux varietals. Open top fermenters with submerged caps coupled with duel temperature fermentation, add richness, balance and character to this exceptional wine.
