Description: The near perfect growing conditions for botrytis cinerea—cool, misty mornings, hot afternoons and warm nights brought the sugars up to a very generous 31.5° Brix at harvest. The resultant wine is rich and complex with lush apricot, peach and pear nuances in the nose and a balanced cornucopia of fruit and honeysuckle flavors on the finish. It will age for many, many years to come, but do not hesitate to try it now with a nice warm bread pudding, fresh berries, or even a Gorgonzola cheese.
