Description: Our Tannat is deep, full-bodied red wine with dark plum flavors and a complex tannin structure. Bronze medal winner at the 2005 SAN FRANCISCO INTERNATIONAL WINE COMPETITION Aged 16 months in French oak barrels and 1 year in bottle before release.

Varietal Definition
Tannat:
Deeply colored and tannic minor grape grown in the Pyrenees region of France. One of four grapes whose wine is blended to make the full-bodied red wine known as "Madiran". The others are Bouchy, Courbu and Pinenc.
