Description:
Varying temperatures in Carneros throughout the spring and early summer resulted in smaller yields and therefore slightly more concentrated pinot noir. Saturated with deep maroon color, this wine opens with aromas of boysenberry and currant and shows focused, forward flavors of cherry, ripe plum and tea rose with a hint of vanilla. Brambly notes lead to firm tannins marking a lively finish. Aged 11 months in 69% new French oak.
