Pinot Gris

Pinot Gris Wine Details
Price: $15.00 per bottle

Description: Vintage 2006. Our 2006 Pinot Gris is the product of a careful harvest in which only the finest grapes were selected for fermentation. The resulting wine exhibits subtle aromas of melon, peach and apricot, backed by honey and a slight touch of nuttiness. On the palate the fruit is fresh and bright. This is a wine that can be enjoyed within a year of release with seafood, light poultry and pasta.

Varietal Definition
Pinot Grigio/Gris:
Pinkish-white variety producing a very crisp white wine. Grown in Oregon, the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, and more and more in California, it shows promise for other cool climates. Also known as Tokay d'Alsace in France, Rulander in Germany, and Pinot Grigio in Italy.
