Description: Gold at the 2001 International Taster's Guild Competition. Bronze at the 2001 All-Canadian Wine Championships and Canadian Wine Awards. Only 1000 bottles of the Limited Edition 2000 Reserve Cote de Bras d’Or Marechal Foch were made from the best Marechal Foch grapes grown in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.. These grapes were grown by John Pratt (Johnny Grape) during the summer and fall of 2000 on Marble Mountain which faces the picturesque Bras d’Or Lakes. It is a gold medal award winning dry red wine rich with fruit and tannin. Enjoy this Cape Breton Treat!

Varietal Definition
Marechal Foch:
A french-american hybrid grape, with french Alsace Gamay origins, noted for producing deeply colored and strongly varietal wines considered by some to have a "Burgundian" character. Also known under the name Foch.
