Pinot Gris

Pinot Gris Wine Details
Price: $19.95 per bottle

Description: After the Pinot Noir and Gamay Noir grapes are crushed and destemmed, they are transferred to small open top fermentation tanks. The reds are held on their skins during and briefly following the fermentation to add colour, depth and texture to the wine. The wine is transferred into French Oak barrels where it is allowed to age until bottling.

Varietal Definition
Pinot Grigio/Gris:
Pinkish-white variety producing a very crisp white wine. Grown in Oregon, the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, and more and more in California, it shows promise for other cool climates. Also known as Tokay d'Alsace in France, Rulander in Germany, and Pinot Grigio in Italy.
