Pinot Gris

Pinot Gris Wine Details
Price: $19.90 per bottle

Description: For our Pinot Gris 2005, we wanted a wine that had big fruit, lots of complexity and stood out from the multitude of Pinot Gris offerings in the valley each year. The result is a big mouth feel wine with citrus tones, fresh on the palate and with a lush pineapple honey finish. The creamy texture from the barrel fermentation and aging sur lie sets this wine apart from the traditional stainless steel tank offerings.

Varietal Definition
Pinot Grigio/Gris:
Pinkish-white variety producing a very crisp white wine. Grown in Oregon, the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, and more and more in California, it shows promise for other cool climates. Also known as Tokay d'Alsace in France, Rulander in Germany, and Pinot Grigio in Italy.
