Pinot Gris

Pinot Gris Wine Details
Price: $22.00 per bottle

Description: This is the Pinot Gris I've always wanted to make. Whole cluster pressing and slow cool fermentation with no barrel aging has allowed the wine to retain all of its' Pinot Gris character. It has lovely tropical fruit for the bouquet and a mouth filling presence of stone fruit. The acidity and alcohol are balanced to bring freshness and warmth to the mix. This wine lingers and invites. A favourite paired with Poplar Grove Double Cream Camembert, or Naramata Bench Blue.

Varietal Definition
Pinot Grigio/Gris:
Pinkish-white variety producing a very crisp white wine. Grown in Oregon, the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, and more and more in California, it shows promise for other cool climates. Also known as Tokay d'Alsace in France, Rulander in Germany, and Pinot Grigio in Italy.
