Zweigelt

Zweigelt Wine Details
Price: $17.00 per bottle

Description: Pronounced 'ts-vi-gelt' this 1922 Blaufränkisch X St. Laurent crossing was pioneered by Dr. Zweigelt of Austria. It has since rapidly gained in popularity and is now Austria's most widely planted red grape. There has been interest here as well and Canada might just become its home away from home. The growing conditions of the Okanagan are ideal for this grape.
