Dancing Bull Sauvignon Blanc

Dancing Bull Sauvignon Blanc Wine Details
Price: $11.99 per bottle

Description: The wine is crisp and clean with bright grapefruit notes balanced by tropical fruit and a hint of herbaceousness. The nose is filled with aromas of green apple, kiwi, lime, and peach highlighted by notes of green bell pepper. The mouth is very juicy, full of tropical and citrus flavors. This Dancing Bull Sauvignon Blanc was made using grapes from the best coastal regions in California, primarily from California's Monterey and Lake Counties. The grapes were gently whole-cluster pressed to maximize the fruit's varietal characteristics and citrus flavors. The juice was cold settled in order to give the finished wine elegance and balance. The wine was both filtered and fined prior to bottling.

Varietal Definition
Sauvignon Blanc:
Sauvignon Blanc is widely grown in California — at over 15,000 acres, it’s now the third most planted variety — and often assumes the moniker ‘Fume Blanc’. This popular synonym, credited to Napa’s Robert Mondavi, derives from the grape’s historic home of Pouilly in France’s Upper Loire Valley, where Sauvignon Blanc is the dominant varietal and goes locally by the name of ‘Blanc Fumé’. When treated with respect and afforded suitable growing conditions, Sauvignon Blanc is one of the wine world’s darlings. Steely, racy acidity, green, gooseberry fruit, asparagus and a grassy, herbaceous character characterize dry wines made from this grape.
