This Cabernet Sauvignon 2000 is totally and wonderfully enjoyable now. The nose is rich and elegantly balanced with red berry and some floral notes with the complexities that the oak aging brings.
We use seven different French barrels for our Cabernet. Each of these barrel makers has his artistic way to express the personality of their barrels. I use cooperage like a delicate spice to enhance the quality and complexity of our wine in a unique way.
The blend is Cabernet and Merlot, both 100% from our Estate Vineyards here on Mount Veeder. Enjoy this Cabernet now, lay some into your cellar to age. But never forget that we make our wines for your pleasure, the good moments with family and friends. Let it be fun!
