																	Description:
The 2001 Sonoma County Syrah has great color, rich blueberry and black pepper character combined with a cedary-smooth finish. Once thought to be a varietal that only thrives in warmer climates, Sonoma County has proven that Syrah has a permanent home here. The varied terroir of our Lazy āCā and Carneros vineyard brings forward the cracked pepper and berry notes that are typical of Syrah from a cooler climate. This wine pairs well with seafood pasta dishes, tri-tip steak smothered in wild chanterelles, and chicken satay. This wine is very approachable now but will also age beautifully for 5 to 7 years.
