Description:
The Chardonnay grapes were harvested between August 28 and September 17, 2001, at an average of24.0 degrees Brix. All of the juice was fermented in French oak barrels. Thirty-five percent of the barrels are new every year, with the remainder being 1 to 2 years old; 100% of the wine underwent malolactic fermentation. The entire production was exposed to nine months of lees contact, with stirrings every other week for the first three months.
