Description:
The Paso Robles Primitivo is produced from grapes grown on our Cristalla vineyard on the west side of Paso Robles, California. For optimum grape quality, we planted the vines 3 feet by 6 feet, and maintain low picking yields of under 2 tons per acre. The word Primitivo means, "early ripening", and because of its similarity to the California's Zinfandel, host a punch of bold fruity flavors. It was barrel-aged in French and American oak for balance and softness. Our Paso Robles Primitivo is deeply colored, rich, and concentrated with notes of wild blackberry, raspberry and spice.
