Korbel Pinot Grigio

Korbel Pinot Grigio Wine Details
Price:

Description: Korbel Pinot Grigio Champagne is a delicate and refreshing cuvee based on the Pinot Grigio grape variety of the Alsace region of France. The same grape variety is also known as Pinot Grigio in northern Italy and Ruhlander in Germany. Pinot Grigio is known for its aromatic delicacy and spicy fruit flavor. We ferment our Pinot Grigio cuvee base wines slowly in cold stainless steel tanks, to best preserve their delicate flavors. This cuvee is a very limited release, and is only available in our wineshop and to our wine club members. Try Korbel Pinot Grigio Champagne with fruits, especially pears, and fruit based sorbets. Korbel Pinot Grigio Champagne also pairs well with prosciutto and many spicy oriental dishes.

Varietal Definition
Pinot Grigio/Gris:
Pinkish-white variety producing a very crisp white wine. Grown in Oregon, the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, and more and more in California, it shows promise for other cool climates. Also known as Tokay d'Alsace in France, Rulander in Germany, and Pinot Grigio in Italy.
