Not a traditional Porto variety, Petite Sirah nevertheless produces excellent ports due to its robust fruit and tannin content. This wine is intensely purple in color with a nose loaded with blackberry, plum and Bing cherries. The mouth feel is heavy with mouth coating tannins and gobs of plums, blueberries and blackberries. It should age superbly up to 15 years.
