Del Rio Pinot Gris

Del Rio Pinot Gris Wine Details
Price: $16.00 per bottle

Description: Our 2002 Pinot Gris displays primary aromas and flavors of pear, apple, guava, apricot and fresh fig. Subtle characteristics of almond extract, citrus blossom, and a hint of vanilla add spice and complexity. The texture is full and viscous on entry, expanding broadly across the palate, finishing with a lingering minerality and refreshing acidity.

Varietal Definition
Pinot Grigio/Gris:
Pinkish-white variety producing a very crisp white wine. Grown in Oregon, the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, and more and more in California, it shows promise for other cool climates. Also known as Tokay d'Alsace in France, Rulander in Germany, and Pinot Grigio in Italy.
